Rembrandt Bugatti, 'Léopard marchant' (1911) sold for $379,800 (EUR352,800), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Christie's in Paris on March 27.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $307,200, equivalent to an annualized return of 6%. It last sold at auction in 1998 for $72,600 at Millon & Associes.

Bronze With Polychrome Patina Shaded With Browns And Black, 24.5 x 48.0 x 9.5cm. The work has been traded 3 times in the past.
