Queens Museum to Host 2026 Gala Auction Featuring Works by Adams, Moore, Olschbaur, and Philoche

The Queens Museum has announced its 2026 Live Gala Auction, scheduled for Monday, May 18, 2026. The event will take place at the museum's Flushing Meadows Corona Park location within the New York City Building. This initiative is a collaboration with Sotheby's.

The auction will feature works by a selection of contemporary artists, including Derrick Adams, b. Robert Moore, Katherina Olschbaur, and Guy Stanley Philoche. Those intending to participate in the auction are required to register by May 15, 2026.

Funds raised through the gala auction are designated to support both the Queens Museum and the Suna Children's Museum. The Queens Museum operates with assistance from various organizations and entities, including the National Endowment for the Arts, Institute of Museum and Library Services, New York State Council on the Arts, New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, Bloomberg Philanthropies, and The Mellon Foundation, among others.
