The Queens Museum has announced details for its upcoming 2026 Gala, an annual fundraising event dedicated to supporting the museum's programs and initiatives. The event will take place on May 18 and is the first with new director Debra Wimpfheimer at the helm.
This year's gala will recognize Derrick Adams and Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr. Adams is best known for his multidisciplinary work exploring themes of identity and Black American experience. In 2024, he was a member of the gala's after-party committee.
