Qi Baishi Work Sells for $162,100 to Deliver a 4% Annualized Return

Qi Baishi, Worshipping the Rock, sold for $162,100 (HKD1.27m), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Christie's in Hong Kong on April 29.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $89,800, equivalent to an annualized return of 4%. It last sold at auction in 2006 for $72,200 at Christie's.

Ink and colour on paper, 67.0 x 33.0cm. The work has been traded once in the past.
