Poppy Jones, Shell (2022) sold for $60,700 (GBP45,100), more than four and a half times the low estimate at Phillips in London on October 18. The oil and watercolour on suede, in artist's frame work has been traded once in the past.
The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $12,400, a 25% rise.
