Pieter Brueghel the Younger, The Swan Inn (1626), sold for $1.33m (CHF1.1m), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Koller Auktionen in Zurich on September 18.
The sale was below the previous auction result by $97,500, realizing a 6% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2022 for $1.43m at Sotheby's.
