Pierre-Auguste Renoir Work Sells for $3.03m to Deliver a 0% Annualized Return

Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Baigneuse accoudée 坐姿浴女 (1882) sold for $3.03m (HKD23.55m), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Sotheby's in Hong Kong on March 29.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $332,500, equivalent to an annualized return of 0%. It last sold at auction in 2013 for $2.69m at Christie's.
