Phillips will host "A Life in Color: Property from the Estate of Tina Hills," a series of auctions spanning its spring and summer sale calendar in 2026. Hills was a New York and Miami-based collector and her husband, Lee Hills, was a longtime editor of the Miami Herald.

The collection features significant works by artists such as Joan Mitchell, Helen Frankenthaler, Adolph Gottlieb, Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, and Marc Chagall. Mid-century and contemporary artists including David Hockney, William Morris, Sam Francis, Jesús Rafael Soto, Dale Chihuly, Toots Zynsky, and Jon Kuhn are also represented. The diverse selection includes paintings, sculptures, photography, prints, drawings, design objects, and jewelry.

Tina Hills was known for her philanthropy, which included supporting the Pérez Art Museum Miami, the Dade County Arts Council and the Florida Grand Opera.

All auctions will be held at Phillips’ location at 432 Park Avenue and sales are scheduled from April through September, starting April 22-24.
