Phillips will present its Editions & Works on Paper Auction on June 24, 2026, at 1:00 PM ET, held at 432 Park Avenue in New York. The sale will feature a curated selection of works from Postwar, Pop, and Contemporary art, exploring various facets of printmaking and visual culture.
The auction will include pieces by a diverse group of artists, such as Damien Hirst, Alex Katz, Roy Lichtenstein, Mickalene Thomas, Robert Rauschenberg, Marcel Duchamp, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, KAWS, Kehinde Wiley, and Kara Walker. These works collectively represent a broad spectrum of printmaking techniques, including aquatints and photogravures, across multiple generations and artistic movements.
A dedicated section of the sale will commemorate the United States' 250th Anniversary. This segment will feature works that engage with themes of American identity and its evolving visual culture, presented through the lens of prints, multiples, and works on paper.
