Hauser & Wirth will present 'Life with P.', an exhibition dedicated to the intimate paintings and works on paper of Philip Guston. Opening on April 21, the presentation explores the artist's personal life through his depictions of his relationship with poet Musa McKim and their shared experiences in Woodstock.

The exhibition features a selection of paintings and drawings that delve into the domestic sphere, offering an autobiographical insight into Guston's life during this period. These works reflect themes of daily existence, personal connection, and the artist's engagement with his immediate surroundings.

Showcasing Guston's distinctive approach to painting and drawing, the works offer a focused examination of his 20th-century master output. The exhibition provides context to his exploration of the domestic and personal as central themes in his broader oeuvre.

Coinciding with the exhibition, Hauser & Wirth Publishers will release a new book that further contextualizes Guston's works and his relationship with McKim, providing additional insight for collectors and art professionals.
