Peter Lanyon Work Sells for $812,300 to Deliver a 8% Annualized Return

Peter Lanyon, Cloud Base (1962), sold for $812,300 (GBP614,400), more than the low estimate at Christie's in London on October 14.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $729,100, equivalent to an annualized return of 8%. It last sold at auction in 1998 for $83,200 at Sotheby's.
