Peter Doig Work Sells for $1.1m to Deliver a 13% Annualized Return

Peter Doig, Reflection (1997), sold for $1.1m (GBP832,000), more than twice the low estimate at Christie's in London on October 14.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $1.04m, equivalent to an annualized return of 13%. It last sold at auction in 2003 for $60,300 at Sotheby's.

Oil on canvas, 30.5 x 35.9cm. The work has been traded twice in the past.
