Paul Klee Work Sells for $27,300 to Deliver a 2% Annualized Return

Paul Klee, mir Hering?! (1939) sold for $27,300 (GBP20,300), more than four times the low estimate at Christie's in London on October 17.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $20,100, equivalent to an annualized return of 2%. It last sold at auction in 1979 for $7,199 at Finarte.

Pencil on paper laid down on the artist's mount, 29.6 x 20.8cm. The work has been traded twice in the past.
