Paul Cezanne Work Sells for $221,900 to Deliver a 4% Annualized Return

Paul Cezanne, Paysage avec moulin (1860), sold for $221,900 (GBP166,400), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Sotheby's in London on March 5.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $159,900, equivalent to an annualized return of 4%. It last sold at auction in 1998 for $62,000 at Christie's.

Oil on canvas, 25.4 x 33.0cm. The work has been traded 10 times in the past.
