Picasso Work Sells for $24.8M to Deliver a 3% Annualized Return

Pablo Picasso, La Statuaire (1925) sold for $24.8m, at Sotheby's in New York on November 18.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $14.05m, equivalent to an annualized return of 3%. It last sold at auction in 1999 for $10.75m at Sotheby's.
