Austin, Texas, will welcome a new art and culture foundation, OSTILLO, with its grand opening scheduled for September 19, 2026. Located at 2600 Rosewood Avenue, the institution is poised to become a new venue for contemporary art, debuting with its inaugural exhibition, 'Masquerade,' and planning a robust schedule of public programs.
The 'Masquerade' exhibition will present works by a diverse roster of artists including Kader Attia, María Berrío, Marlene Dumas, Evan Holloway, Sanya Kantarovsky, Glenn Ligon, Paolo Nazareth, Damián Ortega, Adam Pendleton, Mohammed Sami, Thomas Schütte, Sylvia Snowden, Salman Toor, and Christopher Wool. This presentation will explore concepts such as identification, self-fashioning, estrangement, and conflict.
