Oscar Murillo, untitled (catalyst) (2018) sold for $96,800, more than the low estimate at Phillips in New York on September 25.
The sale was below the previous auction result by $65,800, realizing a 40% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2019 for $162,500 at Sotheby's.
Oil and graphite on canvas, 164.5 x 165.1cm. The work has been traded twice in the past.
