Nikolaos Lytras, On the Rooftop Terrace, Island of Tinos (Undated) sold for $265,800 (EUR229,000), more than three times the low estimate at Bonhams Cornette de Saint Cyr in Paris on May 20. The oil on canvas work has not been traded before.

The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $58,100, a 27% rise.
