Nick Goss, Day Tripper (2020) sold for $56,900 (GBP44,100), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Christie's in London on March 6. The oil, distemper and screenprint on linen work has not been traded before.
The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $27,700, a 94% rise.
