Ndary Lo, Tribute to Usain Bolt (2014) sold for $68,100 (EUR59,600), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Artcurial in Monte Carlo on July 7. The Reinforcing bars and resin work has not been traded before.
The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $21,800, a 47% rise.
