The National Portrait Gallery has announced a new partnership with jewelry brand Pandora, a collaboration set to encompass exhibition sponsorship and retail initiatives. Revealed on August 19, 2026, the alliance positions Pandora as a supporter of the gallery's upcoming exhibition, Tim Walker's Fairyland: Love and Legends.

This exhibition, celebrating the British photographer's Baroque photographic style and his work from the past five years, is scheduled to run October 2026–January 2027. It will explore themes of queer identity, community, and love through Walker's elaborate, dreamlike scenes.

Beyond direct exhibition support, the collaboration will extend to retail initiatives, including the launch of a new jewelry range. Victoria Siddall, Director of the National Portrait Gallery, articulated the institution's vision for the partnership. "Pandora's commitment to creativity, self-expression and accessibility make them an ideal partner for the National Portrait Gallery, as we continue to expand our artistic programs and engage new audiences," Siddall stated. She added, "I am delighted to embark on this new partnership with Pandora and am grateful to them for sharing and supporting our vision for the future." This partnership reflects how cultural institutions are forming commercial alliances to support programming and reach new audiences.
