The National Gallery of Ireland has announced it will host the first major exhibition in Ireland dedicated to Swedish artist and mystic Hilma af Klint. Titled 'Hilma af Klint: Artist and Visionary', the exhibition is scheduled to open on October 15, 2026.

Af Klint (1862–1944) is recognized as a pioneer of abstract art, with her work often exploring themes of mysticism. The exhibition will feature a range of her artistic mediums, including her groundbreaking abstract works, as well as portraits, landscapes, plant-studies, and watercolours.

This comprehensive survey will offer audiences insight into the breadth of af Klint's practice. The exhibition will run from October 15, 2026, to February 7, 2027, at the National Gallery of Ireland.
