Mihaly Lieb Munkacsy, Flitterwochen (Honeymoon) (1895), sold for $660,400, more than five times the low estimate at Sotheby's in New York on February 5.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $626,400, equivalent to an annualized return of 10%. It last sold at auction in 1995 for $34,000 at Christie's.
