Megan Rooney's Auction Record Jumps 1200% With $405,400 Sale

Megan Rooney, The Living Sky (2025) sold for $405,400 (GBP307,200), more than seven and a half times the low estimate at Sotheby's in London on June 25. The acrylic, oil, pastel and oil stick on canvas work has not been traded before.
The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $375,500, a 1200% rise.
