Maurice Utrillo, Rue du Mont Cenis à Montmartre (1912), sold for $139,700, more than twice the low estimate at Christie's in New York on May 19.
The sale was below the previous auction result by $72,600, realizing a 34% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2004 for $212,300 at Artcurial.
