Matti Braun, Untitled (2015) sold for $33,100 (EUR29,000), more than the low estimate at Van Ham Kunstauktionen in Cologne on June 5. The Silk, textile paint and powder coating on aluminium work has been traded once in the past.
The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $194, a 0.6% rise.
