Matthew Wong Work Returns to Auction

Matthew Wong, The Recluse, is due to be sold at Phillips in Hong Kong on June 2, 2026 with a $702,200 (HKD5.5m) to $1.09m estimate.

It last sold at auction in 2021 for $708,000 at Sotheby's. The current low estimate is 446% higher than its previous low estimate of $128,500.
