Marlene Dumas Work with $1.8m Estimate Returns to Auction

Marlene Dumas, The Annunciation, is due to be sold at Sotheby's in New York on May 14, 2026 with a $1.8m to $2.5m estimate.

It last sold at auction in 2004 for $200,000 at Christie's. The current low estimate is 1400% higher than its previous low estimate of $120,000.
