Marcel Duchamp Work Returns to Auction

Marcel Duchamp, Monte Carlo Bond (No. 30), is due to be sold at Christie's in New York on May 18, 2026 with a $1m to $2m estimate.

It last sold at auction in 2015 for $2.4m at Christie's. The current low estimate is 44% lower than its previous low estimate of $1.8m.

Imitated rectified readymade: ink, gelatin silver print collage and tax stamp on printed paper, 31.1 x 19.4cm. The work has been traded twice in the past.
