Marc Chagall Work Sells for $4.44m to Deliver a 8% Annualized Return

Marc Chagall, Fleurs de printemps (La Cruche aux fleurs de printemps) 瓶承春華 (1930) sold for $4.44m (HKD34.53m), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Sotheby's in Hong Kong on March 29.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $1.9m, equivalent to an annualized return of 8%. It last sold at auction in 2018 for $2.54m at Sotheby's.
