Manolo Valdes Work Sells for $81,400 But Delivers a 57% Negative Return

Manolo Valdes, Caballero (1991) sold for $81,400 (GBP63,500), more than the low estimate at Sotheby's in London on March 5.

The sale was below the previous auction result by $111,600, realizing a 57% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2007 for $193,000 at Sotheby's.
