Man Ray, Juliet and Margaret in masks, Los Angeles (1945), sold for $48,300, more than the low estimate at Christie's in New York on April 17.

The sale was below the previous auction result by $26,700, realizing a 35% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2018 for $75,000 at Christie's.

Gelatin silver print, 34.5 x 27.3cm. The work has been traded twice in the past.
