Mai Trung Thu, La Couture (Sewing) (1971), sold for $45,400 (HKD355,600), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Christie's in Hong Kong on March 28.
The sale was below the previous auction result by $11,000, realizing a 19% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2020 for $56,400 at Christie's.
