Somerset House will host 'M.C. Escher. The Exhibition' from June 5 to September 6, 2026. The presentation will feature over 150 works by the Dutch graphic artist, Maurits Cornelis Escher, showcasing his unique combination of artistic expression and mathematical concepts.

Known for his exploration of visual paradoxes and impossible worlds, Escher's oeuvre encompasses graphic art across mediums such as woodcut and lithograph. The exhibition will highlight his recurring themes, including optical illusions, geometry, tessellations, metamorphoses, and impossible constructions.

The exhibition is organized by Arthemisia, in collaboration with the M.C. Escher Foundation and M.C. Escher Heritage. Tickets will be available for general sale starting May 19.
