Lyonel Feininger Work Sells for $101,900 to Deliver a 3% Annualized Return

Lyonel Feininger, Promenade (1914), sold for $101,900 (GBP76,200), more than the low estimate at Christie's in London on March 7.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $82,000, equivalent to an annualized return of 3%. It last sold at auction in 1980 for $19,900 at Christie's.
