Louise Stomps, Göttin (1950) sold for $33,300 (EUR29,200), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Ketterer Kunst in Munich on June 7.
The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $5,817, a 21% rise.
The previous record was set by Männliche Figur (1945), which sold for $27,500 at Grisebach on May 31, 2024. The work had not been traded before.
