Louis Valtat, Mother Sewing and Child in an Armchair, is due to be sold at Christie's in New York on May 19, 2026 with a $40,000 to $60,000 estimate.
It last sold at auction in 1985 for $29,700 at Sotheby's.
Oil on burlap, 81.5 x 100.3cm. The work has been traded twice in the past.
