Lorenzo di Credi, Saint Quirinus of Neuss (Undated) sold for $3.74m (GBP2.72m), more than the low estimate at Sotheby's in London on July 2. The oil and tempera on panel work has been traded 11 times in the past.

The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $2.64m, a 225% rise.
