London Gallery Weekend Announces Sixth Edition for June 2026

London Gallery Weekend (LGW) has announced its sixth edition, scheduled to take place from June 5-7, 2026. The city-wide event will once again feature a program of new exhibitions, public initiatives, and strategic partnerships, aiming to engage London's contemporary art scene.

Participating venues will include institutions such as Tate Modern, Kew Gardens, Tate Britain, National Portrait Gallery, and the V&A, alongside commercial galleries like Sadie Coles HQ, Maureen Paley, Modern Art, Lehmann Maupin, Annely Juda Fine Art, Sprüth Magers, Alison Jacques, Thaddaeus Ropac, White Cube Mason’s Yard, Hauser & Wirth, and Lisson Gallery. The program is set to include works by artists such as Alvaro Barrington, Francis Picabia, Eileen Agar, Jean Dubuffet, Roni Horn, Anne Imhof, Lubaina Himid, Tracey Emin, and Henry Moore, among others, showcasing diverse practices across painting, sculpture, photography, and digital art.

LGW 2026 will also expand its scope through collaborations with entities including the Arts Council Collection, Government Art Collection, Art Fund, Paul Mellon Centre, Henry Moore Foundation, and Tia Collection. The weekend is expected to highlight a range of artistic movements and topics, from contemporary practice to surrealism, modernism, and Art Brut, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches within the London gallery landscape.
