Liu Ye Work Sells for $291,400 But Delivers a 14% Negative Return

Liu Ye, Young Boy and Lacoste (2005) sold for $291,400 (HKD2.27m), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Christie's in Hong Kong on March 29.

The sale was below the previous auction result by $50,000, realizing a 14% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2020 for $341,400 at Sotheby's.
