Liliane Tomasko, Portrait of the Self (kissed by yellow insanity) (2022) sold for $45,500 (GBP33,500), more than two and a half times the low estimate at Phillips in London on April 16. The acrylic and acrylic spray paint on aluminium work has been traded once in the past.

The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $9,636, a 26% rise.
