Leon Bonvin, Still Life with Wildflowers in a Blue and White Faience Vase (1858) sold for $241,300, more than four times the low estimate at Sotheby's in New York on February 4. The Pen and brown ink with water­color and gouache, brown ink with gum arabic work has been traded 4 times in the past.

The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $93,000, a 62% rise.
