Lehmann Maupin has circulated an update regarding several current and forthcoming exhibitions in Seoul and Suwon, featuring both established and contemporary artists across various institutions.
The Hoam Museum of Art is currently hosting "One and the Many," an exhibition running through April 18. This presentation features works by modern Korean masters Chang Ucchin, Lee Ungno, and Suh Se Ok, exploring themes of individual and collective identity, the human figure, and drawing techniques, including graphite portraits. Concurrently, Lehmann Maupin Seoul is exhibiting works by Mandy El-Sayegh through June 28, focusing on psychological tension, multimedia practice, and the implications of printed matter.
Upcoming presentations include Alex Hank's exhibition opening March 19 at Space K, which addresses themes of art and nature and psychological tension through a diverse practice encompassing sculpture, installation art, painting, and photography. The Suwon Museum of Art will open an exhibition of works by Kim Yun Shin on March 20, further exploring art and nature, as well as multimedia practices.
