Several artists represented by Lehmann Maupin are participating in the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, which runs through November 22. Kader Attia is presenting work at the Arsenale, while Nicholas Hlobo and Tammy Nguyen are featured at the Giardini. Additionally, Billie Zangewa is exhibiting within the Nordic Countries Pavilion, and Klara Kristalova's work is also included. Their contributions, encompassing installations, sculptures, works on paper, paintings, artist books, zines, and tapestries, explore themes such as African ritual statues, AI, gender identity, ethnicity, geopolitics, literary canon, ecology, feminism, and Nordic folklore.

Concurrently, Lehmann Maupin artists are also presenting solo and group exhibitions at other notable Venetian venues. Hernan Bas's exhibition, "In Minor Keys," is on view at Ca’ Pesaro through June 6. At Palazzo Cini, works by David Salle are featured in "The Visitors" and "Painting in the Present Tense" through May 30. Furthermore, Erwin Wurm's exhibitions, including "Dreamers," "Double Dream," and "Lust for Life," are on display at Museo Fortuny, also concluding on May 30.
