Larry Poons Work Sells for $48,200 to Deliver a 10% Annualized Return

Larry Poons, Untitled (LP 12 A) (1976) sold for $48,200 (EUR42,200), more than the low estimate at Bonhams Cornette de Saint Cyr in Paris on June 5.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $42,800, equivalent to an annualized return of 10%. It last sold at auction in 2003 for $5,353 at Pierre Bergé & Associés.

Acrylic on canvas, 222.0 x 81.2cm. The work has been traded twice in the past.
