Kohei Nawa, PixCell-Carp #5 (2013) sold for $89,500 (HKD696,600), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Phillips in Hong Kong on December 12.
The sale was below the previous auction result by $23,600, realizing a 20% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2023 for $113,100 at Christie's.
