Keith Haring Work Sells for $512,000 to Deliver a 12% Annualized Return

Keith Haring, Untitled (Subway Drawing) (1983), sold for $512,000, more than the low estimate at Christie's in New York on October 1.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $376,200, equivalent to an annualized return of 12%. It last sold at auction in 2015 for $135,800 at Phillips.

Chalk on two joined sheets of black paper mounted on board, in original aluminum mount, 124.5 x 170.2cm. The work has been traded 5 times in the past.
