Kazuo Shiraga Work Sells for $50,400 But Delivers a 23% Negative Return

Kazuo Shiraga, Untitled (1969) sold for $50,400, more than the low estimate at Christie's in New York on March 18.

The sale was below the previous auction result by $15,500, realizing a 23% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2022 for $65,900 at Est-Ouest Auctions.
