Kazuo Shiraga Work Sells for $391,800 to Deliver a 4% Annualized Return

Kazuo Shiraga, Ranmaru (1986) sold for $391,800 (HKD3.05m), more than the low estimate at Sotheby's in Hong Kong on March 30.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $80,300, equivalent to an annualized return of 4%. It last sold at auction in 2019 for $311,500 at Christie's.
