Kai Althoff, Untitled (2008) sold for $960,000, more than the low estimate at Sotheby's in New York on November 20. The dispersion, acrylic medium, pigments, damar varnish and lacquer with aluminum pigment on fabric work has been traded once in the past.
The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $71,400, a 8% rise.
